Visit us at our stand (Hall B2.428)
We are looking forward to our presence at this year's Analytica in Munich. We will be present with a large team of experts at our stand (Hall B2.428) for the entire duration of the trade fair and will be holding a series of seminars and presentations.
Analytica has stood for the highest quality and expertise for 50 years. The world's leading trade fair for laboratory technology, instrumental analysis and biotechnology and its accompanying renowned analytica conference bring together key experts from research, science and industry in one place. Analytica is therefore the industry's most important meeting place and source of inspiration.
The world of the laboratory is changing rapidly due to the digitalisation of work processes. In the unique special show and in the "Digital Transformation" forum, you will learn what is important when it comes to the interaction of network-compatible laboratory equipment, complex holistic automation concepts and efficient interface solutions.

User Centric Lab Digitalization - How Application of the Connectivity Standard SiLA 2 Brings Real Value to the Lab
Tuesday 21.06.2022, 14:00 - 14:30, Daniel Juchli
Digital Transformation Forum, Hall B2
Imagine that data "automagically" follows you while working in the lab, in a non-invasive way. Data is transferred between instruments, ELN or LIMS but this does not require a big IT project or infrastructure. Sounds too good to be true? Join this presentation to find out.
Parallel event by our partner Klinkner & Partner:

Computer system validation rethought
Wednesday 22.06.2022, Evelyne Daniel, Andreas Wicki, Mathias Fuchs
Analytica Special
After the seminar
- you know the goals of CSV.
- know why there is no way around agility.
- know the difference between product thinking and silo thinking (development vs. validation).
- know the path from regulations to quality - key principles.
- know different solutions such as risk-based approach, agile validation, test automation.
Combine your visit to Analytica 2022 with further training on exciting laboratory and analytical topics.
When you book one of our Analytica Specials, you will receive two day tickets for Analytica 2022 free of charge.
- Why there is no way around agility - the hype explained
- Conflict between innovative, complexity-driven "frequent" process pattern changes (lean innovation) and stability-demanding quality assurance processes (lean production, process optimization)
- Regulatory requirements vs. current implementation
- New, additional requirements for QAs and organizations
- Documentation requirements (document vs. electronic record)
- Get to know possible solutions
Registration and further information can be found here.
More about our speakers
Evelyne Daniel
Evelyne has been working in regulated environments for more than 20 years and has been involved in IT projects as a project manager and validation manager since 2005.
Evelyne has successfully implemented and validated systems, mainly in the area of QA/QC/production. For many years, Evelyne has been engaged in optimizing validation strategies and documentation standards.
With the increasing introduction of agile development frameworks, new validation concepts, adequate tools and skills are needed. It is Evelyne's ambition to actively contribute to the establishment of agile validation methods.
Matthias Fuchs
Scrum Master, Agile Coach, IT Consultant and since 2011 Co-Moderator of the non-profit Swiss ICT event series: "Agile Breakfast Basel".
Since several years Mathias is engaged in all kinds of agile topics. Especially the reasons for success and failure of agile transitions is a major field of investigation and interest of Mathias.
Mathias successfully led several agile workshops and is speaker at conferences covering agile topics.
Daniel Juchli
Head Lab & Research IT @wega and Chief Technical Officer (CTO) @SiLA consortium.
With over 20 years of professional experience in both chemistry and IT, Daniel speaks the language of both scientists and IT professionals and can translate between the needs of users and the technical capabilities of IT systems.
Daniel is an expert in leading projects for the development of laboratory automation and IT solutions in life science environments.
He joined SiLA in 2014 as the SiLA support member representative for wega Informatik and has played an important role in the development of SiLA 2.
Joachim Thewalt
Joachim is an expert in analyzing and capturing business requirements.
He specializes in analytical laboratory processes in the life science environment and is familiar with many software products on the market that make it possible to implement paperless laboratory solutions from both the user and the technical side.
He is familiar with the requirements for the specification and implementation of validated systems in accordance with the GAMP guidelines.
He is also experienced in managing requests for proposals (RfP) for customers or in responding to RfPs on behalf of suppliers. His knowledge of life sciences enables him to mediate between the needs of users and the technical possibilities of IT systems.
Andreas Wicki
Andreas Wicki is a Senior CSV Consultant at wega Informatik AG with more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and CSV. As a trained organic chemist and as a CSV QA in a pharmaceutical company, Andreas Wicki knows both worlds very well - laboratory, production, supply chain, QA processes and IT requirements and needs. This enables Andreas to bridge the gap between business and IT. In recent years, he has worked on many successful smaller and very complex validation projects in various roles.
Sebastian Gross
Dr. Sebastian Gross is a consultant at wega Informatik (Deutschland) GmbH with a focus on laboratory automation, device integration, laboratory digitization and data management.
As a trained biotechnologist, he has a comprehensive understanding of biological and technical processes. During his doctorate, he set up a high-throughput cultivation system for the development of bioprocesses, modeled it and combined automation and modeling to create an autonomously operating system. Since joining wega in November 2021, he has remained true to his passion for improving laboratory processes through smart digitalization processes and connectivity.
