The FHNW School of Life Sciences, based in Muttenz near Basel, is part of the largest life sciences location in Europe.

We are also taking part in the contact day this year in order to network with the students and provide them with a practical insight during their training.

Rashika

Rashika Ratnayake

Rashika Ratnayake works as Recruiting Manager and HR Business Partner at wega Informatik AG, Switzerland and has been with the company since 2018.

She has a Master's degree in Industrial Psychology from the University of London/Birkbeck.

In her professional career, she has gained experience in HR in various industries over the past 16 years. The activities vary from recruitment, application of selection tools, supporting HR processes, employer branding, giving trainings as well as consulting for internal and external interfaces.

Firat

Firat Turan

Firat Turan has been working as an IT Consultant in the Life Sciences division at wega Informatik AG since October 2021. He previously completed an apprenticeship as a logistics technician EFZ and gained initial experience in the pharmaceutical industry before deciding to study for a Bachelor's degree in Medical Informatics at the FHNW School of Life Sciences. After completing his studies, he joined wega to gain insights into various projects and shape his professional future.

During his time at wega, Firat was able to gain experience in various areas, including software development, requirements engineering, project management, laboratory IT and CSV. Through internal projects, he has clarified his goals and is now planning to start a part-time Master's degree in Medical Informatics at the FHNW School of Life Sciences next fall to lay the theoretical foundation for his career.

Lukas

Lukas Graubner

Lukas Graubner is a Senior Consultant and subject matter expert for Enterprise Chromatography Data Systems (CDS) at wega Informatik AG, Switzerland. In this role, he supports companies in the selection, implementation, installation, configuration and validation of chromatography data systems. His core tasks include providing customers with business-oriented technical support and advice on the most efficient use of chromatography data systems, as well as developing data structure and user management concepts.

Lukas worked for over 15 years for a well-known manufacturer of chromatography devices and chromatography data systems. First as a service engineer for chromatography devices and then as a support specialist and project manager for enterprise chromatography data systems. A technical, analytical laboratory training laid the necessary foundation.

Thanks to his experience, he can understand the needs of analysts, quality managers and IT managers and offer appropriate advice and support.

Teyfik

Teyfik Agac

Teyfik Agac has been an IT Consultant in Life Sciences at wega Informatik AG since March 2022.
After gaining initial experience in the fields of biology and chemistry, Teyfik decided to study for a Bachelor's and subsequent Master's degree in Medical Informatics at the FHNW School of Life Sciences. He then joined wega Informatik in order to be able to apply his knowledge from his studies in various projects in the field of IT in Life Sciences.
The diversity of tasks and projects as a consultant at wega Informatik, from software development to requirements engineering and coordination of various stakeholders, enables him to gain a very broad insight into the entire industry and ensures a challenging but also varied daily routine.
